Brackish Films launches with Southern Gothic family drama, Blood Rust. Currently in pre-production, Blood Rust is a short film about estranged sisters (one an aspiring Southern Belle, the other proud trailer trash) reckoning with each other and the long-term effects of childhood trauma.
